Here, the latest arthouse films from around the world are shown together with special screenings, short film premieres and other audience-interactive screenings. Zita is a place to meet for many of Stockholm's smaller film festivals and other cultural initiatives.

Zita has been part of Folkets Bio since 1993 and is Stockholm's oldest still active cinema, opened in 1913. Zita currently has three screens with 140, 45 and 30 seats respectively. Inside the cinema there is also a restaurant that serves food and drinks.

Zita Folkets Bio is one of the few cinemas in central Stockholm that are part of the Europa Cinemas network. 

The cinema also has a bar & restaurant, cinema snacks, a DVD shop and film literature.

Welcome to Reflexen – the friendly quality cinema in Kärrtorp. We work as a non-profit with commitment and love for cinema. Here you can enjoy current films from all over the world with a focus on Europe. 

Cinema Reflexen in Kärrtorp has been run as a non-profit by the Cultural Association Biograf Reflexen since 1977. Our aim is to be Stockholm's nicest quality cinema, with screenings for adults as well as children and young people. The operations are made possible by support from the Skarpnäck district administration, the City of Stockholm and the Swedish Film Institute. Reflexen is also a member of Europa Cinemas. 

The cinema provides a small selection of sweets and drinks. 

The box office opens 30 minutes before the screening. There is free seating in he theatre, which offers 196 seats, 23 of which are love seats. 

Cineville tickets can be pre-booked on our website and picked up at the box office no later than 15 minutes before the screening.  

Purchased tickets are non-refundable. Screenings start at the scheduled time. No admission after the start of the screening.

The friendly neighbourhood cinema in Kärrtorp

Lund's coziest cinema for quality films has recently opened two new lounges and a bistro with catering, and can now offer films on four screens simultaneously, seven days a week.

The cinema was opened under the name Reflex in 1936 and was taken over by Folkets Bio Lund in 1994 under the name Kino.

In 2000, the cinema was rebuilt into two lounges with 201 and 52 seats respectively, and on March 15, 2025, two new lounges with 18 and 10 seats respectively and a large foyer were opened in the converted bank premises on the corner facing Stortorget in Lund with a new entrance at Kyrkogatan 1. There is also a restaurant, bar, foyer bar and event stage.

The daily repertoire includes films from all over the world, with premieres of new films every week. In addition, Kino offers several events such as screenings with q&a, film classics, director visits, film series and festivals. We also show live opera, ballet and theatre from the world's leading stages.

Cineville tickets can be picked up at the box office no earlier than 90 minutes before the screening.

Bio Bristol is a classic cinema that opened on New Year's Eve 1939. The cinema is run entirely non-profit by cinema enthusiasts.

Bio Bristol is a member of the Europa Cinemas network of quality cinemas.

The cinema also has a kiosk and on certain nights the bar is open.

Since 2007, Klarabiografen has been a natural meeting place for film lovers in Kulturhuset. Here you can enjoy current films, timeless classics and immersive film series. We show music and art documentaries, welcome exciting film festivals and invite the very youngest to magical film moments with Knattebio. 

In addition: magnificent operas, theatre productions, ballet and concerts from the world's leading stages – broadcast live or recorded in absolute top quality.

Opposite Klarabiografen is Teaterbaren, which serves everything you could possibly want to enjoy in the dark of the cinema. Coffee, snacks or why not a glass of wine, everything purchased in the Teaterbaren can be brought into the cinema during the film screening. All seats in the cinema are equipped with a fold-down small table and holder for a glass or a cup.

In our beautiful salon with original details from the opening in 1940, new and old meet. At Roy you will find a unique selection of repertoire films, classics, festivals, performing arts, Sing Along and other immersive events.

At Bio Roy, the Cineville card is valid for all regular screenings (everything except performing arts, screenings where food is included in the ticket price and rentals where an external organizer decides what applies). Starting 90 minutes before the screening, you can pick up a ticket by presenting the Cineville card at the box office.

Hagabion was founded in October 1974 on Skolgatan in Haga. In 1981, the business moved to Viktoriahuset on Linnégatan 21, where it is still located today. The cinema is run by members of the non-profit association Folkets Bio Göteborg and shows films 50 weeks a year in 3 cinemas. The focus is on children's films, documentaries and arthouse films from all over the world, as well as film screenings with subsequent conversations with directors and invited guests. 

Adjacent to the cinema is also Hagabion's Café.

Capitol is a classic, cozy cinema with daily screenings and a varied selection of films. A free-standing cinema from 1941 with two theatres: a large classic theatre with red chairs and curtains and a small cozy one.

For tickets with the Cineville card, you can either come directly to the box office or make a reservation via our website and then pick up the ticket at the box office no later than 15 minutes before the start of the film upon presentation of the Cineville card.

Biograf Panora is a meeting place for film lovers in the heart of Möllevången. With us you can experience stories from all over the world that provoke thought, give meaning and shed light on our times. In addition to film screenings, we also arrange film talks, premiere events, director visits, thematic film series, festivals and exhibitions. At Panora you will also find Juniora – the children's own cinema. 

Panora moved into Friisgatan in 2015 and is run by Folkets Bio Malmö – a non-profit association that has worked to spread quality films to all Malmö residents since 1973. We work a lot with various collaborations and rentals and are open to new ones.

The cinema also has an art gallery and a kiosk with snacks for sale.

Panora

A meeting place for film lovers in the heart of Möllevången

Södran is the cinema where everything started for the Folkets Bio Lund association.

Södran Cinema was opened on September 25, 1987 and is Folkets Bio's first permanent screening venue in Lund. The cinema has about 50 seats and is located in the Mejeriet cultural center at Stora Södergatan 64. 

Södran shows films on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays during the spring and autumn seasons, with a break over the Christmas holidays and during the summer months. The cinema is run entirely by volunteers and the box office opens 15 minutes before the start of each performance.

Bio Skandia is a newly re-opened cinema in the heart of Stockholm. The cinema was first opened in 1923 and was designed by Gunnar Asplund – a world-class cultural environment with imaginative design. 

Bio Skandia offers a wide program of films, concerts, stand-up and other cultural events.

We also serve a wide range of snacks, drinks and beer.

We show films Thursday to Sunday all year round. Our screenings have free seating, so be here on time if you have a favourite seat. Don't worry though, our theatre has 532 seats so there are plenty of really good seats!

Draken is the heart of the Göteborg Film Festival. Between January 23 and February 1, more than 30 films will be shown here – including the opening and closing films and the Nordic Competition – and all of them are included in your Cineville card!

At Draken, with 699 seats, you will find the biggest premieres and the festival’s box office. In addition, the cinema is located directly next to Hotel Draken, where evening programs are held throughout the festival.

The magnificent hall has a vaulted ceiling with walls completely covered in mahogany. In front of the large screen hangs the beautiful curtain with its stylized dragon ship, designed by Gunnar Erik Ström.

The festival box office at Draken opens at the start of the festival. 
January 23 12:00 – 21:00

**Accessibility:** 
Cinema Draken is accessible by elevator via Hotel Draken and has a large restroom and wheelchair spaces. Wheelchair spaces need to be booked in advance, while you also arrange for help from the staff when you go in (apart from that, there is free seating). If you have only a slight difficulty walking, you can take the elevator up and walk a few steps up to the hall. There is no hearing loop and none of the shows are audio-interpreted.
